Northern California’s 1 Oz Coffee to Make SoCal Debut in Huntington Beach

The independently-owned cafe was founded by Yulia Kolchanova, a Siberian native who immigrated to the US in 2008.
The local, award-winning concept was initially supposed to set up shop on 5th Street, but is now eyeing the former home of Gallagher’s Pub.
With locations as far-flung as China, Australia, and Saudi Arabia, this California-born, Gulf Coast-inspired restaurant has proved itself a formidable catch since opening in 2004.
Now in its 50th year of operations, the family-owned and operated business is renowned for its authentic dishes hand-crafted by co-founder and Chief Recipe Officer, Mary Vasquez.
The restaurant, which promises to serve ‘delicious Brazilian experiences,’ will take over the former home of Jade China near Plaza Del Obispo.
The location is poised to be the second of a 15-unit deal signed back in 2021 with franchisee Shawn Danesh.
Matty’s Patty’s, which currently operates a flagship location in Toronto, specializes in smash burgers, with a couple of signature favorites to boot.
SET’s diverse menu will feature sustainably caught seafood, expertly-crafted sushi, and a collection of American steakhouse classics.
The DIY joint, helmed by Jade and Rusty Valore, will open in Riverside later this summer according to a post on the brand’s Instagram account.
