It’s unclear when the shop might open, as a representative of Moon Cha did not immediately return a request for comment.

The menu at Moon Cha will feature a classic line-up of milk teas, lattes, and smoothies, with signature offerings such as an Ube Taro and Matcha option, as well as a Vietnamese coffee.

According to Moon Cha’s official website, the shop will be helmed by a team with “extensive experience working within the boba industry,” each of whom has “developed a profound appreciation for the craft of creating exceptional boba beverages.”

What’s more, the team’s philosophy is predicated on four pillars; sustainability through their stated goal of becoming 100 percent plastic-free, affordability that doesn’t skimp on authenticity, “quali-tea” sourced from an extensive and rigorous testing and researching process, and lastly, as pet owners themselves, fostering a pet-friendly environment.
