Jaime de Anda, known for his family’s successful chain of taquerias, Taqueria de Anda, brings his expertise and passion for culinary excellence to the newly acquired establishment. Recognizing the untapped potential of the previous Surf City Fish Grill, de Anda saw an opportunity to introduce the vibrant flavors of Mexican-American cuisine to the Huntington Beach community.

Having recently completed a renovation, Surf City Fish Tacos now has a fresh, contemporary interior that embraces the “Surf City” vibe while providing a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for diners.

Under de Anda’s guidance, the menu at Surf City Fish Tacos has undergone a complete transformation. Drawing inspiration from his family’s authentic recipes and culinary heritage, de Anda has curated an array of Mexican-American seafood dishes. Guests can expect a fusion of bold flavors and crafted seafood delights, including the Baja fish taco. The restaurant also offers a variety of fish and shrimp tacos, burritos, bowls, soups, and salads.

“It is with great excitement that we unveil the newly rebranded Surf City Fish Tacos,” said Jaime de Anda in a statement. “We are passionate about delivering an exceptional dining experience that combines the authentic flavors of our family’s recipes with the vibrant spirit of Huntington Beach. We are committed to providing a culinary haven for both locals and visitors to enjoy.”

Surf City Fish Tacos’ grand reopening marks a new chapter for the restaurant, under the leadership of Jaime de Anda.
