The Castle, a new Mediterranean restaurant and potential hookah lounge with seating for roughly 110 people is set to take up residence in Anaheim at 513 S Brookhurst St sometime in the next couple of months, according to co-owner Kassem El-Katat.
El-Katat says that he and his team are still finalizing their menu, while also doing some cosmetic remodeling to the interior, such as flooring and painting, as well as the patio which will host a hookah lounge, should permits be granted.
Despite this being El-Katat’s first foray into the full-service restaurant business, the entrepreneur is no stranger to the food industry, having owned Manarah Meat Market just down the street at 824 S Brookhurst for the past 20 years.
“Serving the community is one of our specialties,” El-Katat tells What Now Orange County.
