In addition to the resort’s eatery’s renovation, the hotel is also updating its bar, lobby, gym, exterior, and 253 guest rooms to have a more “sleek and modern” feel. The work will be completed in March.

At the resort, there is also a more casual option for food, Blend Café. Located in the lobby, it offers grab-and-go options for visitors, as well as coffees, teas, craft beer, wines, and cocktails. The DoubleTree is conveniently located down the road from John Wayne Airport, the beach, and several renowned dining and shipping destinations.

Meritage Kitchen + Bar has a menu of American-inspired cuisine, cocktails, wines, and local beers. The atmosphere is lively, with TVs, pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, and Nintendo to keep guests entertained. There is a happy hour and buffet available as well.
