Adriana Matthews, a P.R. rep for the brand, says they hope to open up at 5205 Warner Avenue sometime in December.

This will be the fifth outpost of owner Gabe Gordon‘s burgeoning Beachwood empire, with Beachwood Pizza and Beer joining taprooms in Long Beach, Garden Grove, and Bixby Knolls, as well as the Beachwood Blendery, a reservations only ode to Belgian-style Lambic ales.

Pizza might be a new direction for the Beachwood brand, but they’ve brought in an expert in Chef Waldo Stout, who has experience at in some of L.A.’s most iconic bakeries and pizza spots, including Roberta’s and Gjusta.

According to Matthews, the team is going all out to make some serious pizza dough. In addition house milled flour, they’ll be “utilizing a house-sour beer culture from The Blendery,” and a “custom water profile that’s being produced at our Long Beach brewing facility.”

Pizza won’t be all that’s on the menu though, as Stout has concocted a full slate of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches, all of which promise to pair perfectly with the Beachwood draft selections. While the team won’t be brewing onsite, expect a wide selection of tasty craft beers from across the brand.
