According to VP Nazim Gomri, the team hopes to have doors open at 5145 Warner Ave, in “three to four weeks.”

This will be the first Orange County outpost for owner Almasri Abdal‘s rapidly expanding brand. Al’s currently operates four locations in the greater Los Angeles area, along with a store in Tacoma, WA. Gomri also hinted that more expansion, in L.A. and elsewhere, is still in the works.

Diners can expect all the fried chicken favorites Al’s has made its name on at the new Huntington Beach location. Their succulent chicken can be enjoyed as tenders, wings, sandwiches, a half bird, or with a side of waffles, and guests can select one of four spice levels, ranging from Mild to Extra Hot, along with a classic country fry available for the spice averse.

For the thrill seekers, Al’s is also famous for the Hot Chicken Challenge, a 2.2 million Scoville unit test of tongue fortitude. The Huntington Beach location will also feature an interactive wall where diners can comment and leave their personal mark on the restaurant.
