The incoming branch will be mission-style with towering archways, stucco roofing, and muted colors (as opposed to the prototypical red and yellow), according to a proposal for the location. Additionally, the proposal details a drive-thru that won’t obstruct the parking lot’s flow, curving along the perimeter of the lot and encased by shrubbery to accommodate In-N-Outs serpentine lines.

Founded in 1948 in Baldwin Park, CA by Harry Snyder, In-N-Out enjoys a cult-like following of fans who sing the praises of its fresh and decidedly simple menu that includes a burger, cheeseburger, fries, soda, milkshakes, and a few “not-so-secret” secret items if you know how to ask.

In-N-Out already has a drive-thru in the city, at 28782 Camino Capistrano. It is about four miles from Del Obispo Street.
