According to intel obtained by What Now Orange County, the space may soon join its big-name brethren by becoming a Shake Shack. Though not completely confirmed, the prediction is probable as a credible source (a member of management at the Irvine Spectrum Shake Shack) has hinted at the rumor’s truth.

Additionally, the leasing agent for the Marketplace at Laguna Niguel said the former Boston Market would be developed into a “well-known burger restaurant, not a fast food restaurant,” per the Instagram @AlisoViejo.Living.

The potentially incoming store would be the third OC Shake Shack underway, with Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach outposts reportedly in the works, and the fourth Orange County store as the Irvine location recently opened its doors to the public.

Shake Shack’s Andrew McCaughan did not respond to WNOC’s request for confirmation. This article will be updated as more information becomes available.
