Part of the Mission Village Shopping Center, which is a planned retail hub, the drive-thru location will be one of seven buildings to be constructed there. It is a 10.1-acre site that was already zoned for commercial use.

Other proposed tenants at the 74,835-square-foot plaza include Grocery Outlet, The Habit Restaurant, Dollar Tree, Planet Fitness, and a car wash, the city’s website states. The buildings will have a contemporary farm-style theme and a shared outdoor dining space.

A Starbucks representative told What Now OC,” Starbucks is always looking for great locations to better meet the needs of our customers, and we are happy to confirm that we will be opening a new location at Mission Blvd and Opal St in Jurupa Valley, CA in the fall of 2024. The new drive-thru location will employ approximately 25 partners (employees).”
