This incoming addition to the food hall boasting “the crème de la crème in international and local cuisine” will be PhoHolic’s third location, with its sister stores hailing from Westminster and Stanton, two of SoCal’s more pho-centric cities.

Unlike other pho restaurants, PhoHolic doesn’t offer sides or additional dishes/options. Instead, Founder Gordon Pham says he prefers to focus on pho only, a method that’s reaped clear benefits as PhoHolic has become a premier destination for the Vietnamese noodle-soup dish.

Another reason for the chain’s success could be that the art of pho-making is in Pham’s blood. According to Eater LA, “Pham’s family owned a duo of pho restaurants for decades in Vietnam [before] they left those days behind [to immigrate] to the U.S. in 2010.”

As for when the South Coast Plaza location will debut, an employee at the chain’s Westminster outpost told What Now Orange County, “at this point, we don’t yet know.”
