Multi-state Wingstop franchisee, Far West Restaurants, recently secured a lease for a new outpost in Mission Viejo Marketplace, located at 26042 Marguerite Pkwy, according to leasing details reviewed by What Now Orange County and confirmed by a Wingstop spokesperson.
“At Wingstop, we specialize in flavor, offering cooked-to-order wings, tenders, and chicken sandwiches that are hand sauced-and-tossed in guests’ choice of 11 signature flavors,” a Wingstop spokesperson told What Now Orange County by email. “At the Mission Viejo location, guests can dine in, carryout, or order for delivery from Wingstop.com or the app.”
A representative of Far West Restaurants did not immediately return a request for comment.
Since its founding in 1994 in Garland, TX, Wingstop has expanded to some 1,500 restaurants around the world – 108 of which are owned and operated by Far West Restaurants in California, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, and Washington – making good on the company’s mission to “serve the world flavor.”
In fact, flavor is a key ingredient – both literally and metaphorically – in Wingstop’s brand identity, which writes on its website that “We’re not in the wing business. We’re in the flavor business,” adding, “It’s flavor that defines us and has made Wingstop one of the fastest growing brands in the restaurant industry.”
Wingstop’s menu features 13 varieties of sauces that range from the non-spicy Plain, Garlic Parmesan, and Hawaiian, through milder options such as Lemon Pepper and Hickory Smoked BBQ, to the more medium-adjacent Spicy Korean and Louisiana Rb, on up to Mango Habanero, Cajun, and the death-defying Atomic, all of which can be served up as either wings, tenders, or a sandwich.
