Hot Lips’ ambiance is a vibrant nod to pop cultural aesthetics from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, an atmosphere inspired by Andy Warhol and Uziel’s love for vintage design. She describes it as a “daytime disco for your mouth and soul”.

The concept will offer Equator coffee, espresso, cold brew, nitro, Maya Chai tea, and matcha drinks, as well as a selection of pastries and desserts for patrons to enjoy. For now, Uziel will run the business as a one-woman show, and she will hire staff after the concept is up and running.

“I grew up In the Cathedral City Cove and then left for 30 years – I lived for 20 years in the heart of San Francisco.  I’ve done it all from bartending to becoming an attorney, but now I’m back in the cove and want to create a happy/positive space that serves delicious coffee for the community,” Uziel told What Now OC
