The renovation of the new Wet Dog Tavern space is being overseen by Beach Bus Studios. Permitting began in April, and designs were just finalized this past month. Building permit applications show a job valuation total of $77,000.

A post on Instagram this week shared an update with patrons who are eagerly awaiting the venue’s return. “We’re thrilled to announce that construction is officially in full swing, and we’re counting down the days until our grand opening this fall! Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer!” it read.

The company also teased a new menu. Former items served at the establishment include elevated bar fare: onion rings, pretzels, elote, lobster and shrimp dip, burgers, and more. Wet Dog Tavern also has a fun drink menu with several unique house cocktails.
