Morena’s prides itself on “never [using] pre-made sauces, mixes, or frozen ingredients,” and instead slow-cooking all of its beans in-house while making its rice fresh every day and hand-making all of its salsas to boot.

That care and attention can be found throughout Morena’s menu, which features a reliable slate of Mexican comfort food favorites such as chicken and shrimp Flautas, Chile Relleno, Queso Fundido, Enchiladas, Street Tacos, Carne Asada, and Pollo a la Chipotle.

Initially founded in 2017, Morena’s Mexican Cuisine currently boasts locations in Rancho Mission Viejo and Huntington Beach.
