Known for its commitment to authentic, handmade tacos, Tacos La Piña will bring a taste of Mexico to travelers. The company focuses on fresh ingredients and multi-generational family recipes, with a variety of delicious made-from-scratch tacos and sides.

Hospitality corporation HMSHost is transforming the airport’s dining and retail landscape with a $50 million investment. Over a dozen new food venues are being introduced on the property. Spanning 32,000 square feet across Terminals A, B, and C, the project aims to enhance the travel experience for the airport’s 11 million annual passengers.

Ashley Davidson, Director of Corporate Communications for HMS Host, told What Now OC that the entity does not yet have “estimated opening dates for the new restaurants at John Wayne Airport, but I’m able to share that they will begin to open in early 2025. We also will not have final menus until much closer to opening, but it’s safe to say that each of the local restaurants (e.g. Tacos La Piña) will feature highlights and favorites from each brand’s menu.”
