Under a newly awarded 15-year contract with concessionaire HMSHost, the beloved burger chain will open a new location in a 1,430-square-foot shell, an airport representative told What Now OC. There is no available timeline on when it would open.

This expansion is part of a larger project to upgrade more than 32,100 square feet of concession space at John Wayne Airport. Alongside The Habit, travelers can look forward to other notable additions such as Panera Bread, Starbucks, Dunkin’, and local gems like Wahoo’s Fish Taco and Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken.

The Habit Burger Grill, founded in Santa Barbara, California, in 1969, is known for its Charburger, which features a chargrilled beef patty cooked over an open flame. The restaurant’s menu includes a variety of sandwiches, salads, fries, and milkshakes, with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients.
