Ike’s Love & Sandwiches began in 2007 as a small shop in San Francisco called Ike’s Place. Founded by Ike Shehadeh, the chain is known for serving innovative flavors on Dutch Crunch bread with their secret “Dirty Sauce.” Each location offers an exclusive sandwich named as a tribute to a local celebrity or icon.

The chain celebrated its entry into the Orange County market earlier this year when they opened a store in Costa Mesa. “It’s literally anything you want on a sandwich — we don’t say no… We don’t have many basic sandwiches. It’s basically a sandwich you cannot make at home,” Shehadeh previously told the LA Times.

Since then, Ike’s has continued its expansion throughout Orange County and the rest of Southern California, as well as Arizona. An opening date for Westminster hasn’t been announced.
