Another cupcake destination will be coming to Irvine. The Dots Cupcakes team say they plan to open in the Los Olivos Marketplace at the Irvine Spectrum in the late spring or early summer of 2023.
Founded by owner Hailey Kwon in Pasadena, Dots specializes in gourmet, whimsical cupcakes made with high-quality, all natural ingredients. In addition to classic flavors like chocolate, cookies and cream, and red velvet, Dots brings some less traditional cupcake combinations to the table as well, with options ranging from Fleur de Sel to Meyer lemon.
In addition to Dots Cupcakes, Kwon has also branched out in Pasadena with the Dots Cafe and Bakery. That concept features a full slate of savory breakfast and lunch options, along with coffees, to pair with her specialty baked goods.
The Los Olivos Marketplace at Irvine Spectrum features an impressive slate of shopping dining, and lifestyle brands, including a Whole Foods.
