To celebrate the new location, Toastique has planned a variety of offers to welcome customers joining on the day of the Grand Opening. Beginning at 8 am, the first 100 guests at the Grand Opening will receive a $50 rewards credit, with purchase, to be used during future visits. The credit will be applied to their Toastique Loyalty account, which can be activated on the Toastique app. In addition, guests will have the option to choose a coupon for a complimentary latte, smoothie, or buy-one get-one free toast, with every purchase throughout the day. The café will also provide samples of gourmet toasts, smoothies, and cold-pressed juices available for customers waiting in line.

The new location will be opening its doors at 226 Marine Ave, the former Starbucks location at the corner of the quaint seaside street on Balboa Island in Newport Beach. A cozy setting spanning approximately 1500 square feet, the establishment will provide both indoor and outdoor café style seating for guests to choose from, including bar seats and tables.

Toastique, born in 2017 in Washington, D.C., has gained recognition over the years in the growing wellness industry for its mission to create food on the premise of honoring the natural beauty and simplicity in locally-sourced ingredients. By utilizing ripe produce and creating thoughtful flavor combinations, Toastique has developed a broad menu of unique and health-conscious toasts, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and more that promote and fit into a balanced and energetic lifestyle.

The concept is known for their toast creations, highlighted in the concept’s name, and stands true to this motive by offering fresh and filling standouts such the Tomato Buratta (herbed ricotta, pesto, tomatoes, burrata, basil, olive oil, and balsamic glaze on rustico toast) and the PB Crunch (honey roasted peanut butter, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, berry jam, granola, peanuts, honey drizzle, and mint on walnut raisin toast). Toastique also has a variety of tropical smoothie bowls, such as the Cocolada (pineapple, banana, coconut milk, and lime topped with banana, pineapple, coconut, sliced almonds, candied ginger, granola, lime wedge, and honey drizzle), as well as an assortment of nutrient rich cold-pressed juices, smoothies, espresso and coffee, and other grab-and-go options.

The Newport Beach location is fueled by husband-and-wife team Lyndon Baptiste and Rhea Cayenne, alongside relatives and long-time Newport Beach residents Anthony and Lesley Capolino. The two couples make up Orange Seed LLC, a company investing in high caliber food and beverage brands.

“We can’t wait to finally introduce and warmly welcome the Newport Beach community to Toastique at our Grand Opening event,” shared Rhea Cayenne in a statement. “Bringing this concept to California has been a journey filled with love and adventure, from moving away from our home in London to be nearby our family in Newport Beach, to joining forces with the incredible Toastique team, and pouring all of our energy into this concept. We can’t wait to toast, taste and celebrate with the community that has embraced us, with special thank-you gifts, deals and discounts!”

After the Grand Opening on September 16th, the restaurant will be open daily from 7am to 5pm.
