Oliver’s Trattoria, an incoming concept by Erik Demarchi of Oliver’s Osteria (both of which are named after the chef’s son), will open at 6511 Quail Hill Pkwy, Irvine, CA 92603, in the former Two Left Forks space.

While this endeavor will be Demarchi’s second “Oliver’s,” the Trattoria will likely be more upscale than the Osteria. In fact, by definition, “a trattoria is an Italian-style eating establishment that is generally much less formal than a ristorante, but more formal than an osteria.”

As for Oliver’s Osteria, it resides in illustrious Laguna Beach and serves up cuisine “from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy.”

Per the company’s website, the osteria “[showcases] home-made pasta, traditional recipes from [Demarchi’s] hometown, and an eclectic Italian-based wine list. Oliver’s is a true, authentic experience from the moment you walk in.”

It’s currently unclear what the menu at Oliver’s Trattoria will consist of, but given Demarchi’s 20+ years in the restaurant industry and lifelong accruement of culinary wisdom, Irvine is undoubtedly in for something delicious.
