Park, a Southern California Korean Barbecue veteran, currently operates a handful of different concepts around the Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, and Fullerton areas, and is best know for his flagship Songhak. Park originally planned to debut a new concept in Buena Park called Galbi Story; however, the recent runaway success of his new Gangnam Station restaurant in Los Angeles’ Korea Town has caused him to consider switching up the plan.

An AYCE (all you can eat) concept, Gangnam Station promises high quality meat at an approachable price point in a vibrant, hip space designed to appeal to a younger crowd. The menu in Los Angeles features a variety of Korean Barbecue classics like Galbi style short ribs, beef bulgogi, and pork belly, along with a few premium upgrades, including some selections of Wagyu beef.

Whether Park decides on a more elevated, a la carte concept in the model of Songhak or a second Gangnam Station location (which seems to be the way that he is leaning) What Now Orange County will continue to report on this new and promising opening.
