“At this time, we are still building things out and cannot offer information,” a spokesperson for the brand told What Now OC.

La Vaquera will offer a dining experience deeply rooted in the history and culture of San Juan Capistrano. Its menu will feature a variety of dishes cooked over wood fires, bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients.

At the helm of La Vaquera’s kitchen is Executive Chef Aaron Zimmer, a distinguished alumnus of the Culinary Institute of America. Zimmer’s extensive culinary career includes stints at prestigious locations, including the Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay, Rosewood Hotel Group, and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

River Street Marketplace is set to become a premier outdoor retail and dining destination. With a total of 30 tenants, some just recently announced, the marketplace will offer a diverse mix of food and retail options to the community.
