In a phone call with What Now Orange County this week, franchisee Ray Libang says that they are hopefully going to open on schedule this fall. At this point, they are soon to install new equipment in preparation for the opening.

This will be Libang’s first of five Roll-Em-Up restaurants that he will open throughout Orange County. “Announcing Roll-Em-Up Taquitos’ franchise opportunity was a big deal for our brand, and we are so excited to continue moving forward with our growth through these recently signed leases,” Roll-Em-Up Taquitos CEO Ryan Usrey said in a press release.

Ursey and his father Ron started the business in honor of Mama Karen, whose famous hand-rolled beef taquitos sparked the idea for a taquito-focused restaurant. To this day, all taquitos are made with fresh, never frozen ingredients, hand-rolled daily and pan-fried to order.

In addition to beef, they offer chicken, potato, cheese and avocado, plus a variety of sides. Visit rollemup.com for more information.
