Raising Cane’s, the celebrated fast-food chain known for its chicken tenders, has a new restaurant set to open in Yucaipa. According to News Mirror, the QSR joint will occupy a space near 12th Street and Yucaipa Boulevard.

The upcoming Raising Cane’s will span 2,899 square feet, including a substantial 1,360 square foot outdoor patio, records state. The restaurant will have a drive-thru lane and feature 49 parking stalls, including two electric vehicle (EV) chargers.
On April 20, The Yucaipa Planning Commission approved the site plan for the Raising Cane’s project, following the project’s initial submittal in December. A planning use permit was granted on March 20.
Raising Cane’s was founded in 1996 by Todd Graves and Craig Silvey in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The concept is renowned for its simple yet effective menu centered around its signature chicken tenders that are marinated for 24 hours, hand-breaded, and fried to order.
