A new science-backed wellness business that promises to make you sweat will open in San Clemente on February 17. The local owner of the new Perspire Sauna Studio, the nation’s fastest growing infrared sauna studio, will serve the local area by providing a unique wellness experience where full spectrum infrared sauna and red-light therapy technology combine to detox the body, burn calories, improve sleep, ease pain and more.
The San Clemente location is owned and operated by local entrepreneur, Maria Kirgan. Maria, a former executive from the tech sector, was first introduced to the brand while undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She quickly gleaned firsthand insight on just how beneficial infrared sauna therapy could be during recovery for not only cancer, but other health conditions as well. Upon beating cancer, Maria set out to ensure that men and women in her community would have access to the same mental and physical health properties she did, which led her to opening her first studio in 2020.
“My personal health journey left me determined to help those around me in overcoming their own health struggles,” said Kirgan in a statement. “Perspire Sauna Studio has allowed me to do just that by providing customers with a holistic, full body health and wellness alternative. Public knowledge and use of infrared saunas are in their infancy, which has been a determining factor not only in my decision to open this new location, but to continue doing so across Southern California.”
In addition to her new studio in San Clemente, Maria currently owns additional Perspire Sauna Studio’s in both Dana Point and Laguna Niguel.
The premise of the franchise is to give guests an immersive, rejuvenative experience with its advance red light therapy technology. The studio also provides concierge-level service and premium amenities to ensure a completely transformative 40-minute sauna session.
The San Clemente studio will be open Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
