This new location is in North Anaheim near the Fullerton border, just north of the 91 freeway. The address is in a strip mall that includes a flower shop, an insurance agency office, and a smog check shop. There is already one existing Ono Hawaiian BBQ in Anaheim, situated off the 5 freeway near Disneyland.

Known for its Hawaiian-inspired Plate Lunches, Ono Hawaiian BBQ was founded in 2002. The menu boasts a variety of island specialties, including Hawaiian-style BBQ chicken, island white fish, chicken katsu, BBQ beef, and pork. All dishes are prepared from scratch daily and grilled fresh to order.

Ono operates over 100 locations in California and Arizona, and has been on a quest for expansion lately. There are dozens of upcoming stores listed on the business’s website, many of which are in SoCal.
